September Full Moon in Pisces

Well, dears, the skies are stirring up quite a potion this month. September’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Pisces is no hushed teardrop but a full tidal swell. Full Moons already reveal what’s been hiding in the corners. Add an eclipse and suddenly, truths you’ve been sidestepping are right in your lap. Think of it as the universe giving you a gentle nudge (or a splash of cold water) toward the next chapter.

Pisces, the zodiac’s final sign, knows a thing or two about endings and release. This is the dreamer, the mystic, the empath who dissolves boundaries and swims in the sea of compassion. Under this eclipse, you’re asked to unclench, soften, and trust the current. And trust me — the tide knows where it’s carrying you.

Tarot Connection: The Moon Card

If Pisces had a dance partner in the tarot, it would be The Moon (XVIII). Both move in water, both whisper from the subconscious, and both remind us that clarity doesn’t always arrive in a straight line. Pisces gives us empathy and imagination; The Moon reflects that in dreams, illusions, and gut-deep intuition.

And like an eclipse, The Moon card knows the art of partial light. We’re not always able to see everything clearly, sometimes we have to learn to walk by feel, to trust the shadows, and to remember that even in the dark, we have guidance.

Symbols in The Moon Card

The Moon card is (literally!) dripping with symbolism, each detail a breadcrumb for the soul:

  • The Full Moon — shining just enough light to keep moving, but never the whole picture.
  • The Dog and the Wolf — your tidy self and your wild side, howling in unison.
  • The Crawfish — secrets crawling out of the depths, ready to be noticed.
  • The Pool — that deep well of dreams and feelings you can’t rationalize away.
  • The Path winding into mountains — because spiritual growth is rarely a straight shot.
  • Twin Towers — the gateway from “what you know” into “what you don’t (yet).”
  • The Falling Yods of light — divine sparks reminding you the dark is never empty.

Each symbol hums with Pisces energy: emotional, imaginative, and not the least bit afraid of mystery.

Pisces Full Moon Eclipse Tarot Spread

If you’d like to sit with these energies, shuffle your deck and try this spread:

  1. The Rising Tide – What emotions or truths are surfacing under this eclipse?
  2. The Illusion Dissolving – What story or fantasy is ready to be released?
  3. The Call to Surrender – Where am I asked to soften, trust, or let go?
  4. The Soul’s Compass – What intuitive wisdom is guiding me forward?
  5. The Path Beyond the Eclipse – What clarity or vision will emerge once the shadow passes?

Take your time with this one. Write it out. Dream on it. Let it steep like a good cup of tea.

This Pisces Lunar Eclipse, though maybe a bit foggy at first, is here to remind you that sometimes the wisest thing you can do is surrender the steering wheel, float, and trust where the tide carries you. Listen closely, release kindly, and follow the threads of intuition.
